Welcome to the Anderson Duecker Genealogy Pages
In addition to being avid fine art photographers Marilyn and Jay Anderson have had a long standing interest in genealogy. We would like to share some of this research with you just as we like to share our photographs. We invite the genealogists to spend a few extra minutes to enjoy the photographs and we invite the photography enthusiasts to spend time reading some of the family histories, which contain some interesting antidotes.
Marilyn's family name was originally spelled with an umlaut ü as Dücker. It has been anglicized in two ways Duecker and Ducker. Similarly Marilyn's mother's (Muriel Nottger) maiden name was originally spelled Nöttger and has been anglicized by dropping the umlaut.
The documents available for on-line viewing are transcribed from some old family documents that have be maintained since early in the twentieth century. These are presented using three frames. The top gives some general information about the document. The left contains hyperlinks to specific names or places in the document. The right contains the main document and can be scrolled up and down with the scroll bar on the right without moving the links in the left frame.
We also have a personal database of over 1000 individuals and 320 marriages. Since this database includes several individuals who are living we have not put in on this site out of respect for their privacy. We will gladly answer e-mail inquiries related to individuals from prior generations as to whether or not we have any information on them.
