Love Poem #42
When first I saw you there I was,
With foot-in-mouth I waited cuz
That dress you wore that day was fine,
In fact I liked it more than mine.
Springtime
Sex, sex, sex, sex,
Sex, sex, sex, sex,
Sex, sex, sex, sex,
Beer!
Sex, sex, sex, sex,
Sex, sex, sex, sex,
Sex, sex, sex, sex,
More beer!
Ode to my Bureau
Oh desk where dust and dirt did hide,
And fleas cavorted there with pride,
With books piled high and old gym clothes,
And smells that will assault the nose.
Alas, garbageman's delight
Comp'ny's coming late this night
And clean you'll be for six months more,
While I make 'Ode to a Drawer'.
Ode to the Poet
Once where people laugh and smile,
The poet had their praise a while.
But then one day an err made he,
And people laughed him heartily.
Ala forlorn troubadour,
What makes the hurt that much more
Is that, although you're all washed up,
Why can't others make these up?
