8 September, 2008:

There's so much that I could say, but I've said it all before.  Some of it could still be relevant, but not all of it.  Not most of it.

I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer serving in Mali.  It's a land locked country in West Africa that has the Niger River running through the south of it and the Sahara Desert in the north.  If you're still confused, it's in that part of Africa that sticks out on the left.  Don't worry, I didn't know where it was at first, either.

I'm also an author.  I've written a few novels, though have yet to try to get any of them published.  I do have one screenplay that's supposed to be made into a direct-to-dvd movie soon.  Perhaps after Peace Corps, I'll focus more on my writing and trying to get published.  But that's still two years away.

I'm an idealist who believes the world can be a better place if only we all decided to make it that way.  At the age of 30, I still haven't lost that belief.  No matter how naive some people may believe it to be, I hope I never lose it.
