DADDY

You were always so kind and
gentle, always by Mama's side,
and she stood by you--
took care of you till you died.
Then sorrow touched our hearts,
and Mama cried alone
till she began her journey--
her search for home.
Eleven years passed, and she
grew tired, but searched again,
till one day she was so weary, and you were there to welcome her,
"Sweet darling, come on in!"
