landscape mural in a small hallway

We undertake murals in many styles, including trompe l'oeil and grisaille.

This tiny hallway of only three square metres (about three square yards), links all the rooms in the apartment and also serves as the entrance hall. Seven doors take up nearly all of the wall space so it was decided to paint the scene over four of them and to construct the perspectives so that the walls disappear from strategic viewing points. The floor tiles are extended into the painting becoming a Mediterranean roof terrace.

Space has been left to add more plants and furniture to the terrace in the future as the client would like the scene to grow year by year so that there are always new details to enjoy.
