Here we used layers of transparent red glaze to build up a deep glowing finish on the walls. With normal paint the colour is opaque so the light reflects off the surface producing a flat colour. With our method the light penetrates the glaze, reflects off a white base layer and returns through the glaze, producing an unparalleled depth and luminosity. This is an ideal finish for a dining room, producing deep, lustrous reflections especially from candlelight. |
