KATHERINE WHEATLEY

In a recent review of a show at The Auditorium in Thunder Bay , Hubert
O'Hearn of The Chronicle Journal wrote "Katherine Wheatley gave an
absolutely transcendent concert.  She is able to take minor observations in
life and find their soul.  On stage...she exudes sheer kindness and
love.  Blessedly, refreshingly, Katherine Wheatley is a truly Canadian
original".  Arresting vocals, infectious grooves and literate story telling
mark her work.  Every song evokes her uncanny depth of observation.  With
offhand wit, vibrant lyrics and an infectious passion for performing,
Katherine Wheatley has been captivating audiences everywhere she
performs.  According to the Ottawa Citizen "This is a performer to keep you
on the edge of your seat."

Caution Jam’s active repertoire spans close to 100 Grateful Dead songs, as well as their own original compositions. Their originals are folky, funky, and melodic — they are songs you could sing along with after having only heard them a few times. Having also covered the likes of the Allman Brothers, the Beatles, Miles Davis, Johnny Cash, and many others, the Caution boys can play outside their stock of pure, unadulterated Dead. "We’re trying to get people excited about seeing the old-school shit," Mark exclaims.
