This piece was created in Fractal Design's Painter. As a fine artist, I always enjoyed the challenge of creating photorealistic art. I wanted to see if I could create the same type of artistic detail digitally. I purchased Painter one week before creating this still life.
The first thing I did was explore the "materials" pallet. WOW! I also used a graphics tablet with a pressure sensitive pen, without which this would have been impossible.
