The Storm
Lightening strikes, thunder sounds, clouds cover, and rain falls.
All these things characterize the storm of my very being.
These all symbolize the storm I go through every day of my life.
The lightening striking represents the people who stab me in the back.
Those people who use my services to obtain what they want.
Then, what do they do? They play me and leave me.
The thunder sounding is the rumors that people tell.
When they get back to me, they shake me up and give me a scare.
But, by no means do they harm me. I strive on in spite of the pain.
The clouds that cover represent the darkness the people try to cover me with.
But they don’t know that their cloud is also my covering, my shield.
It’s the underlining fact someone can see through the cloud and can pull me out.
Lastly the rain falling is like the source of my growth, fertilizing me.
It’s the lesson I learn through all of the drama that I go through.
It also is the purifying of my soul, taking the pain away from my body.
The storm of nature and life are essential to life on earth.
Without storms, from where would we get nourishment?
Without these storms, how would we grow?
