Daddy's Little Darlings Reviews

From Affaire de Coeur January 1999

Daphne overheard her new husband Alex discussing with his sick father about their wonderful marriage. Their wonderful marriage was a farce, an arrangement between Alex's rich dad and Daphne's poor father just so she could preduce a male heir. Daphne left Alex. She refused to talk to him. Daphne had triplet girls eight months later, but there were complications.

Alex made his move then and gently bullied Daphne and the new babies back to his home. He hoped to convince Daphne he didn't care she had all girls and that she couldn't have any more children. Somehow Alex had to convince Daphne that he loved her. But then Alex's crusty old man got in the way with the male heir thing. He died before things could be resolved. Those unresolved things were made worse when unknown snobby relatives showed up at Alex's door with the desired male heir in the oven, so to speak. Alex was going to lose Daphne unless he could show her she wasn't a disappointment, but the best thing that had ever happened to him.

Daddy's Little Darlings is an enchanting romance with wonderful characters who liven up things. Leonard has a wonderful sense of the ridiculous that will keep you on your toes with laughter.
