"The works of American poet Robert Frost tell of simple things- swinging on a birch tree, stopping by woods on a snowy evening, the death of a hired man. Behind them is a deep feeling for life's fundamentals- love, loyalty, awareness of nature and of God."

Doesn't that sound quaint? I don't see anything simple about Frost. Nothing. Some of his work baffles the hell out of me. But I think about it. To hear how some of Frost's greatest and most poignant pieces are relegated to the classification of "simple" folk poetry just irritates me. I guess that this is just my little rant against Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia.
