My mommy.  There aren't words for how I feel about my mother, but I'll just tell you a little bit about her.  She is my closest friend and mentor. She has her Masters in Library Science and is the Arizona State Photographic Librarian.  She continually inspires me to be the best person I can possibly be, professionally and personally.  She also has the greatest, most wicked sense of humor, as any of my friends can attest!

And perhaps it is the way that she and Joe interact that gives me the greatest amusement. My mother is an incredibly strong woman who has the most remarkable ability to frighten off the boyfriends. And Joe was never swayed in the least. My mother made one smart-alec remark and Joe made one right back!

I want to use this space to thank you for giving me the courage and the insight to make the most of my gifts and to recognize love and beauty in others.  I believe your upbringing has made it possible for me to be where I am today, on the threshhold of a new life. Thank you.  I love you.
