John's Story
November 1, 2008
In Armyland, Gran, Aunt Tina, our troops and I
are preparing for an attack on the enemy base.
We are loading our tanks and jeeps with fuel, oil, weapons,
ammo and troops.
We are moving out through the main entrance of our base
and are ready to begin the attack on our enemy.
Gran and Aunt Tina are on ground patrol in their Jeep,
leading our transport platoon, while the four special ops and I are flying
above the tanks and transports in our rogue helicopter.
When we finally reached the enemy's border we spotted a rebel tank and four
rebels, as they shot one of our jeeps and destroyed it. I radioed Gran,
with instructions to take-out the rebels with our tanks.
After twenty minutes of fierce fighting, we destroyed the rebel tank and
ground troops so we moved on with the attack.
I radioed Gran to stop the transport trucks and move the tanks forward to
recon the area ahead.
I got a call from the tank commander that they were under attack.
I radioed Gran to move transports ahead and get into position.
We got there as fast as we could. Our tanks had already made a line to the
right with their guns facing the enemy.
Our tansports lined up behind the tanks,
letting our troops out to line up between the tanks.
Two of our snipers got on top of one of the M-1 Abrams.
I said, "Here we are men at the enemy's forward base."
I sent Gran and Aunt Tina to the left, to take out some of the rebels.
After several minutes of gunfire I radioed Gran to return to base.
When she returned, she asked me what was wrong.
I told her our radar was picking up enemies advancing from the left.
Suddenly, we were attacked by droids.
Gran, Aunt Tina and I and a few of our troops lined up to defend
our command post.
We finally killed the four super battle droids but were then attacked by an
entire platoon of battle droids wielding blasters and one with a jet pack.
After hours of fierce battle we finally killed all the droids.
I asked the commander how many casualties and injuries we had sustained.
He reported that we had lost two M-1 Abrams, a Humvee, there were three
casualties and a few minor injuries.
I gathered several of my ops to fly with me to perform an aerial strike.
We destroyed two rebels and a turrent before we were hit by a missle and
crashed on the battlefield.
Gran and Aunt Tina gathered two medics and rushed onto the battlefield to get
us out of harm's way and back to the command post.
After about an hour of rest, we walked out of the medic tent
to thank Gran and Aunt Tina for saving us.
We were killing a lot of the advancing troops and we were sure we would
have the battle won in no time.
Then things took a turn for the worse.
They sent out a humongous transport tank with two giant lazer cannons on the
front and a bazooka trooper and lazer chain gun soldier on the back.
Within thirty minutes, we lost two tanks, two jeeps,
five transport trucks and a dozen troops.
We finally had to retreat back to base.
Our commander told us if we hadn't retreated when we did,
we would all be dead.
Gran said "We lost the battle but we haven't lost the war."
I told Gran, "yea it's over until next time.
THE END
Made by Aunt Tina especially for John!!
