My third, non-school assignment, Acyrlic
painting. I made this for one of my closest
friends, Karen. The painting is based on a
poem that she came up for us by Tim Burton,
“Match Girl and Stick Boy.” I gave it to her
on October 28, 1999, as a Halloween present
and as a “Thank You” for letting me borrow
an outfit she made for a fashion show. I’m
going to wear it to the Halloween Masquerade
Ball at the Variety Arts Center in L.A. on
October 30th. The Creatures and Switchblade
Symphony will be playing there. The painting
was first laid out in Photoshop and then
reproduced of the computer screen onto
canvas. What I came out with was better than
the Photoshop sketch.
