Where was I? Anyway, it wouldn't be until about 1989 that he was considered cool by his friends (whom he didn't really have before then). It was several more years before he cultivated his current social skills, such as table manners, etc.

As as adult he is myriads more popular, most likely because of the greater presence of facial hair, body fat, and usage of larger words.
