Let me introduce you to my "kids".... First in line is Megan, my oldest...

Otherwise known as "pork chop", Meg came home with me on Valentines Day 1991 and was my most loyal companion for over 15 years. Being raised from a pup with a male dog as her only "doggy role model", she never did get get the fact that she didn't need to "lift a leg" to go potty....but she was so dang cute, this was easily overlooked. My most precious friend was given her peace on April 6, 2006. She will be forever missed by anyone whose life she touched.

Next in cronological order would be my Casey....

My "Magoo", the shy one of the bunch. She was almost 3 before she would come out of hiding when someone other than myself was home. She was abused by her own mama as a kitten...can you imagine??? In any case, she was an absolute love, and while she DID have her moments...she was the most innocent of the bunch! ::soft smile::...I lost my Casey very suddenly on March 13th, 2000. She was 7 years old.

Following only 4 months behind is Suzy....

She was barely 8 weeks old when I got her at Christmas of 1993. And to think...I thought SHE was gonna be my only "Terrorist"! 'Red' came from a litter whose mama was killed by a car when they were only 5 weeks old. She is my "brave" child...with absolutely no fear whatsoever. This is a little girl who loves to play, is curious about everything, and absolutely demands attention! And of course, one of her favorite times for requesting my lovin, is when I am busy type..type..typing away at the puter!!!

And then there was my Sneakers...

At barely a year old, Sneakers joined our happy lil family just after Christmas, 1997. In just the first few months she was a part of the family, she decided that she ruled the roost! With more energy than a ball of fire, and this unquenchable desire to "terrorize" her siblings, she still managed to endear herself to all of us. By far, the most affectionate lil bugger I have ever come across...WHEN in the mood of course ...I lost this little baby to bone cancer on November 29th, 2001. She was not quite 5 years old.

And last, but not least, baby Molly...

I adopted little Molly just before New Years, 2001. After the devestating loss of little Sneakers, I thought a new baby would do us all good. I especially wanted a new playmate for Suzy, who's always welcomed new babies with open paws. Hmmmm...best laid plans! LOL It's taken a lot of time, and plenty of patience for everyone, but Molly is finally finding her niche. When captured by the 'adoption agency' at barely a year old, Molly was nursing 7 kittens, and was just over 5 lbs herself! However, with lots of loving and TLC, she's turning into quite the little cuddle bug...if not a holy terror in her own right!

So there you have it...my kids. A vagabond lil crew, who have all loved me unconditionally. Some have left us now, but each has been the world to me!
