WARREN PIECE

Warning: This Album Contains...
90 minutes of musical backstabbing and intrigue. Obviously the All-Stars' most ambitious project to date, Warren Piece takes all aspects of modern music and hurls them at a trash can. Literally. Songs swerve every direction but straight through organ-driven power ballads, serene odes to rainy nights, acoustic aluminum quartets, and disgustingly messy noise. The final song is the record-breaker, though. 45 minutes. That's not how long it took to write it. That's how long it took to play it. It was a fascinating piece that just never seemed to end--new motifs, emotions, and ideas constantly flowing into one another. Pure magic.
