This is a poem I wrote when I realized that everything that happened that I thought was terrible was for the better. I had met some much nicer friends and became happier than I have ever been before.

A GUY I MET
Sometimes I cannot understand why the world is against me
Why people who I thought were friends proved not to be
So I sit there thinking of the monthes that past
And of all the friendships that I thought would last
But as I turn my head what is it that I see
But a warm and friendly smile headed right towards me
With that big bright smile came a pair of round dark eyes
And who they did belong to came much to my surprise
A guy that I had met just a few days before
Though I barely knew him I felt I knew him more
I smiled back at him as I looked into his eyes
Because he helped me see that I could meet some NICER guys!
