Many of these books are somewhat hard to find. If you live in a desert, you may not find them at all; "Sorry, not in stock, but we can order that for you . . ." I've found that it's quicker and easier to order online from Amazon.com and get books delivered to my door. Ordering is done through a secure server and they don't charge my credit card until my books are shipped. Peachy! Follow the title's link to Amazon.com bookstore for more information about a book and its author. Browse for other books by the same author. Amazon.com's search features can help find even more books. Of course, I still browse any bookstore or library I can get near. Sometimes the right book is just waiting for you to find it, but you won't know it, until you've thumbed the pages.
Another thing I like: you can get any book you want, at any time of day or night . . . 24 hours a day. They can even be giftwrapped and delivered with a note to a friend.
