These are two pictures taken in New York City. The one
on the left is my grandmother, who came to America from Denmark when she was a little girl. On the right is my
grandfather who was a member of the Coast Guard and
a veteran of WWII. He even survived after his ship the
S.S. Leopold sunk into icy waters. The little girl in
both pictures is my aunt. The pic on the right is dated
1948, and the other is from about 1946.
