and now .... you're gone ~
~~for my friend

i looked i did
i thought
about you often
you know that now
that you did matter
to me greatly
know that i can
still see your
face and feel
your skin

i can still hear
that voice soft
low an deep
and oh the
gentle laugh the
eyes brown as
the earth wide
as a world lost
inside itself

and we two would
go there you and i
and it never changed
that moment lost
when time rearranged
for us amidst the din
wrapped us in the
soft the quiet
the dark the center
of the earth

in the park
oh on the grass
i remember bodies
pressed whisperin in
each other's ear
soft warm
breathe caress
laughin over coffee
fingers twinin
i remember

and when i
looked i could
not find you
strange i thought
you must be here
i have found
others of a lesser
note and so i
looked again and
this time i found
your name within
the little box

writers writin'
on the writer sayin
he was somethin
special he was
was he was was was
was was was
starin at the
screen clutchin
insides turn
to stone

your gone
you left me
all alone
but but i was
lookin to say
i will i will
i will i am
ready and i am
writing again

but you are
gone you
can't be
i am stone
and life keeps
drippin water
on my head
dear god dear
friend dear
brilliant one
you are dead

oh the funeral
guests they say
read like a
list elite
garlands at
your feet
but i
wasn't there
i didn't know
you know
how i hide i
guess it's been years

i didn't know
i wasn't there
and it feels all
wrong inside me
oh god
you're dead

and the words
bring tears and
fears of mortality
and a loss that
sits like a rock
i see what's been
you're gone yes
you're gone
home free

and this much
i do know this
much is quite
clear to me
last fall you
died said uncle
said when and
today i stand
here with a hole
in my heart
with a sinking
certainty that
i will never
touch your
hand again

~blame game~

it's only for
the cream you know
that the gods
have split the oreo

come n'sew
me their story
and i'll show you
the glory
of the garment
worn loosely
an a soul
blazin warmly
within
it it myself
i'm comfortin

their story
it spun
itself before me
the clock
struck one
and down he run
this great man
whose mind
unravelled time
now broken
bodied trapped
a fire within
a ghost
he did lay
himself upon
the mercy
at the feet
of her whose
heart he'd
torn apart

at first
in honor amazed
my heart lurched
he did not
deserve this pain
he did not
deserve this either
that she should
love him yet
that she should
give herself
to him still
care for his broken
body sustain his
weakenin' will
this was my
thought fashioned
from the moat
and so there i was
treadin' water
ignited by
my indignation
righthanded righteous
razed and ragin'

yet risin' from
the center pool
is a quiet
drop of water
rippling whispers
thanks the goddess
i can see
the golden apples
for reflections
golden mittons
backed with tin
within the wee
hours of the race
i see my own
reflection in
your face

oh here
we are a tear
torn between where
the truth remains
in this
game unseen
the vision of the

creature that is we
divided in
illusion the
right and the weft
the ewe and the me and
I and Thou
cause course
i know it
anywho anyhow
there is
no you there
is no me no
ladies man and
no lady

just one being split
lookin back at
it self realized
in the reflection
we the mothers
lovers the sisters
and crones
of the night
we are liquid
lamped and dancin
we are lava
of an echo
darkly blinded
by the light

i call you other
call you he but
you are me
it's only for
the cream you know
that the gods
have split the oreo
cause how drear
how uneventful if
it was one
seamless mouthful
instead of but
a yummy frame
within for to play
this livin game
and so i rock
your heart and know
it is myself
i'm comfortin
it is myself
i'm comfortin

come n'sew
me their story
and i'll show you
the glory
of the garment
worn loosely
an a soul
blazin warmly
within

Gabby's Hope
kiddie spoiler

once upon a time
in a land long ago
and quite forgotten
lived the BansheeBabes
of JohnnyHawk Rotten

little GoldiLocks and
LeatherHood, they
ran from the BB's
they ran through the woods
they ran through the briars
and the ran through the brambles
they ran bushes,
where a rabbit couldn't go
they ran so fast that
the Banshees couldn't catch em
from the weird little town
to the castle camelo~

they went to see the horsies
and they went to see the cowlets
Leatherhood made her Goldie
a comfy sleep~hay pallet
she was so tired, doncha know
a ‘runnin from that slaughter
woulda broken Hoodsie's heart
if they had'a caught her

so she plumped up the bed
‘neath little locksie's head
ah no it twas not vellum
twas not too soft
twas not too hard
but just right for a felon
yet when our Goldie
dear laid down
she found that
she was grounded
she spied her tummy
frowning like a
juicy watermelon
plump rounded

oh looky
Leatherhood n' bound
listen to this
fruited sound
methinks we'll have
some food ole'
watermelonwine
an' maybe mead
and all cause
i ate that
blackened seed
don't let
those roundboys
take my fruit
go hit em real hard
in the snoot

an lo! tis true
that on that day
the goldengirl
and LeatherHood
did bring forth
from the hay
a sweet melon
strangely fey

but LeatherHood
bearin scratches
from the Foxy
~in ~the~wood
said it is time
to split that fruit~
and make some
flowin wine, forsooth!
oh no cried Goldie
upon my tooth~ we can't~
i think this fruit
is too fine
to split, in truth~

no! I will not have it~
have it now! cried
the mighty Hood~ !
no! no!
the starry~eyed
LocGoldie cried!
this it is
not good!
The was on
goldiegirl had gone
up to the rocks
she ran
close behind her
cute behind
ran Leather
in her hood so fine

she caught that goldilocks
but alas~ anon~
the melon she was gone
the little one with
the cute behind
said she had dropped
that melon
down a blind
too far too deep
for them to find

but ~AHA
that little goldilocks
had sent her down the river
dressed in little talkin socks
so that she shant shiver

now next week we'll see
well~ maybe~
we'll see
if it was wise to
send her
on that river bender
or should she ‘a let ole'
leather end her~

hungry hearts

 a moon full washes
 across the window
 a shadow darkens
 my heart can hear
 the soft padding
 the hot breath
 and i remember
 once upon a time
 i knew that shadow
 passing there
 once upon a time
 it drew blood
 from that soft
 this succulent
 nape of a neck
 skin creamy white
 against the crimson
 stain has marked
 my heart taught
 me to dwell
 in places layered
 shadows fold me
 stillness will he
 come again i
 languish in
 the twilight
 once upon a time
 i knew that shadow
 passing there
 i called him other
 once upon a time
 if i could pray
 i would ask
 to feel once more
 that sharpened tooth
 pierce my innocence
 draw me through
 the lookingglass
 cut to the soul
 i hear the padding
 of the cloven
 see the shadow pass
 the window feel
 the hot breathe
 fill the night
 steaming thick
 fraught with
 a thousand desires
 once upon a time
 i knew that shadow
 passing there
 i called him other
 until he woke me
 from my fear
 once upon a time
 now our immortal
 hearts beat
 with wanton lust
 life burning blood
 wolves are ravenous
 the flesh is weak
 tender and far
 too juicy
 not to slacke
 this thirst fill
 up my hunger with
 your sweetness
 dark and warm
 fear not
 it is the sacred
 covenant we keep

'tight jaws n' peroxide faux '

  Jonah oh god
  it was a whale
  of a tale of a
  ship gone awry
  when pumpernickles
  woulda  done
  such a nice job

  oh who could
  watch who could
  you could wood
  you should you
  do you care
  fuzzywuzzy
  wasn't fuzzy
  wazshe once
  a warrior a
  princess
  no less

  once of a mind
  of a mighty
  fine line
  to dispense
  wisdom as
  pezgrace
  gently fallin'  down all
  around
  from the lips
  with an ease
  unconsciously
  straight to
  the heart
  like a sterlin
  fart simple
  simon was
  a pieman
  ain't round
  comin down
  on me
  the sound
  of the
  dancin bear
  oh doncha know
  pi are square
  oh will
  you be
  my moralistic
  mama
  lay it
  on me
  midst the
  trauma
  diramma
  drama queen
  oh no wait
  that was on
  Hercules
  an that
  was Ares
  ...sic
  iphoophoocles
  oh my god where
  is that tutu
  when we need you
  doody du~duex
  and i saw you
  brought low
  fopped faux blonde
  pouty lipp'ed
  too stoopid
  to live
  helpless
  hapless and
  au so' useless
  who does the
  boys blonde
  no don't you
  tell me
  i don't
  wanna know
  i see the
  one with
  no director
  tight face
  she's taken
  the place of
  loose lucy
  salad shooter
  at her side
  she's flingin
  the tomatoes
  juliette'n
  those potatoes
  it just the
  timin was
  all wrong
  and the
  the labor
  too hard
  punchin'
  every word
  and oh
  my gosh
  the moral
  explanations
  the laureled
  dissertations
  through too
  much makeup
  and a jaw
  a jaw oh maw
  that's
  clenched
  too
  tight
  she's too heavy
  she ain"t my
  sister she be
  trite tripe
  n' overripe
  rewrite an'
  get a life
  an' oh my gawd
  Autolycus they
  turned you to an
  honest woos
  get thee back
  to the track
  ya'll need a
  liddle help
 gettin' over
  yerself
  now i don know
  who to shoot
  who to
  give the boot
  the writers
  it's true
  are givin me
  the blues
  gettin a
  little too
  goody~two shoes
  but no i don't
  think so
  it's the
  direction
  the overdone
  the preachy
  manipulative
  predilection
  that ruined
  a slice o nice
  perfection

  i thought
  you knew
  right and wrong
  are shiftin'
  shadow dancers
  mirror lances
  lit by
  the dark night
  pierced by
  a spark
  who the
  hell do
  you think
  ya'll are

  if i wanted
  silly moral
  superstitions
  those are the
  boundaries of
  the one true god
  if i believed in
  one god one way
  i'd go to that
  one truth today
  i don't need
  anymore fantasy
  bout the
  ways of mr.one
  mr. true
  mr. only
  the eternal
  heaven
  the neverendin
  hell
  the love of
  a father n'
  under his spell
  jehovah it's true
  we make
  in our own
  image an
  likeness n'
  we build him
  a home n
  say we're
  his chosen
  'n we're
  never alone

  but i tell you
  the chosen
  the choice
  the grade
  double a
  are the sheep
  called for
  fattnin'
  the coffers
  of nations
  popes and
  the rabbi's
  the required
  subjugation

  where aw where
  has my terse
  princess gone
  my pagan beauty
  dark as the
  night sea
  she who
  rivals dawn

  zifforah zifforah
  unzip the day
  slip me
  my lady
  in her
  lush shades
  of grey

  she was
  a clear lake
  a juxtaposed
  song a river
  runnin by me
  who held
  herself
  lightly
  now it's
  all come
  undone
  once her
  words were
  not strained
  not lain on me
  heavy drained
  of all its charm
  and carried
  on a right
  righteous arm

  oh sound
  the  alarm
  now the cows
  left the barn
  missed the boat
  countin oats
  fallin' into
  the moat
  shit
  floats
  and
  hollyweird
  gloats
