I was not right . . . most wrong I see
O brothers, sisters,
listen please
I chose a path, I walked along
Now I have but an empty song
Your love, alone
. . . I long to cling
Deny me not, for truth has sting
And stung I’ve been, upon my knees
O brothers, sisters,
help me please
There is a darkness round me now
Yet the faintest light, upon my brow
Will I pass before I see it’s end
Have I not heart, nor hand of friend
Your names are all I have to call
If asked, I would . . . yes,
surely crawl
Please here my voice before I die
There is a truth within my cry
O Jesus, God
. . . One so true
I know you not, what will I do
Can I go back . . . A second chance
And mend this darkened black romance
Live dogs are better off, you see
To bind their wounds with healing salve
Than lions, dead . . . to always be
A carcass for the earth to have
Amen
Michael
These word are here because one soul was bold enough to unfolded into my heart in seeking, yet if you judge yourself truly, there is a trace of this heart that can come to all of our understanding of the darkness that comes when separated from God. Our second chance always comes when you are alive enough to feel this lost place of heart and soul . . .
~ And that would be Hell ~
