That Treasure Box

No matter how frail a simple little box may seem to be, how small or plain or even if it’s hinges are broken, one may find a great wealth of gold and silver shining forth, because of the decision of what you stored there and the warmth of sharing with another.  I dedicate this work to the fine town of Fort Collins, Colorado.  If there was ever a city laid with streets of gold, I  found that it must be a reflection of the warm hearts that walk those streets, and from the view of a passer-by, a stranger’s needful moment to just share a  trace of human kindness, and nothing more . . .  I found it there.  You never know how far a precious moment like that may find wings to guide another that is seeking.
The Angels watch . . . .

If ever you find these words one day
That treasure box shared between us two
Please smile inside for all I say
I only meant to comfort you

In this old fading world . . . Alas
Like magic kisses to our dreams
As we let go of winters past
We greet the Light of moon lit beams

To touch each soul as you and I
A moment’s whispered peace to shine
Like morning Light . . . A hopeful sigh
This is the glory of our time

That treasure shared between us two
A moment now that I unfold
Like those upon a wing that flew
How grand the beauty to behold

 ~ I share with you ~

                                           Amen ,

                                            Michael
