Welcome to Michael's Art

Hi, My name is Michael. I studied oil painting for five years under the direction of Guy Steele Fairlamb, a professional artist from Washington D.C. Guy taught his students the "Masters" techniques, and we learned by copying their works of art. Later I developed my own style of painting. My biggest influence is American artist, Thomas Cole. His series of paintings "The Voyage Of Life" is captivating and my personal favorite.

I enjoy teaching others how to paint. In reality, I believe I am opening the door to my students own creativity.

I also love writing poetry to express my innermost feelings about the wonderful things in our world.
