Postcards from the U.S. by A

Beginning in 2002, I decided to start taking my acrylic paints with me on vacation in order to capture the scenery on canvas whenever I could. Just about all the paintings you see here have been done or started in "plein air" on location. A couple I completed from photographs taken by myself or my wife. The first few paintings are local to the Washington, D.C.- Maryland area. The rest are from various parts of the U.S.
