Tundara is town # 3, both on the "guided tour" through the portals and in town number. It's in the northwest corner(by air elements) and is probably one of the more organized towns out there. It has perhaps the toughest puzzle of the game--getting the emerald ring. You cannot etherealize in Tundara. Also, there are no keys or tickets for Tundara.

- (8,8) newspaper in the gutter tells of the Snowbeast
- (9,7) buy mages' guild membership here

- (11,13) temple: C3-1, C3-5, C4-4
- (14,13) mages' guild S4-2, S4-3, S5-1, S5-3
- (7,6) cavern
- (15,11) exit outside
Special squares:
- (15,10) hirelings
- (15,9) emerald ring if you rob the dead.
- (15,8) The Snowbeast, err, snowbeasts
- (15,12) lever(pulls barrier down)
- (13,9) crippled guy warns you of the snowbeast
- (13,4) message about lost emerald ring
- (3,5) prison: barriered off. You can get sent there
- (2,7) freezer behind secret wall!
- (2,14) crusader secondary skill(Saracen's Denial)
- (4,13)? merchant secondary skill(International Market)
- (8,13) navigator secondary skill(Sextant)
Tips and tricks: exit the magic zone, rest, cast protective spells, and then go back in. You can even leg it all the way to the temple to donate for blessings if you feel like you can avoid encounters. If, however, you want more encounters, just hang around the frozen monster storage and break down a few doors.
