Born and educated in Germany. Has travelled in Greece since 1965. Resides and works on Naxos since 1974. In 1980 he became a Naxian Citizen. More than 50 One Man Shows and group exhibitions in Europe, U.S.A. and Asia since 1973.
Illustrations for two books: "For a Fort-Night on Naxos" by P. Seuthe and "Lukas" by H. Voss.

His sculptures, paintings, watercolours, lithographs, woodcuts, etchings, silkscreens and books are in public and private collections in: USA, England, Canada, South Africa, Australia, Switzerland, Japan, China, Russia, Poland, Cyprus, Turkey, Italy, Sweden, Lithuania, Netherlands, Germany, France and Greece
