	3RD YEAR


	These are some of the works from 3rd year studio at Woodbury University. The first semester (part 1) we focused on longspan, then second semester (part 2) we focused on housing.


	PART 1

	The first semester in 3rd year, we studied longspan systems such as bridges and trusses. This class was tought by Dennis Hollingsworth.


	The objective of this class was to study bridges around the world, then create a bridge to our knowledge, then take that bridge and repeat it at least five times to create a truss effect that turns into a building.

	Then we were given a creater spanning 1125 feet that is existing in the Nevada Atomic Testing Sites to create an Atomic Exhibition Center.
