From Horatio to Hamlet
Thy passion's fire burns
bright and wild,
Though in thy heart you're still a child.
Go purge thy mind of vengeful acts,
Let patience show what passion lacks.
Oft times a life comes down to choice,
Let Reason give thy action's voice.
Away thy thoughts of vengeful deeds,
Lest thou becomes the one who bleeds.
If patience be thy counsel's guide,
Then God's own hands their fates decide.
Thy father's death will be resolved,
By Justice 'minstrated by God above.
Thy passion's heat moved
swiftly by,
So Reason's calm leaves me to cry.
