This is the Sea View Inn - a great place to visit on Pawley's Island in South Carolina. We visited the Inn for the first time this past July. It is a beautiful place to stop at and either stay for the night or drop by for a meal and some conversation. We stopped by for lunch at about 1:15, and were treated to a great southern meal of fried chicken and biscuits. Not to be missed! We also returned on a Friday Night for Supper, and had a wonderful meal of poached salmon, salad, corn, and the best baked pear desert I've ever eaten! If you're ever in the area, stop by and visit it. It will afford the photographer many wonderful opportunities wether at the inn, on the ocean, or behind the inn at the marsh. There are egrets, herons, seagulls, terns, cardinals, sparrows, and if you're really lucky and you come at the right time of the year, you may get to see the protected loggerhead turtles nesting. There are beautiful natural dunes, and a vast sandy beach with warm ocean waters to swim in. Below, you can view some of my photos from the brief time I spent here. - the Seaview Inn has a bunch of large pots with Lotus Plants, if you're lucky, you'll catch one in bloom like I did.
