Mirror Image
To look at one was like looking at the other. For family it was a constant guessing game. For strangers the surprise was overwhelming. For the twins Olivia and Victoria Henderson, their bond was mysterious and marvelous a secret realm only they inhabited. They were the beloved daughters of a man who never fully recovered from his wife's death bearing them in 1893. Shy, serious Olivia had taken over the role of mother, managing not only their lush estate but also her twin sister's rebellious actions. Free spirited Victoria embraced the women's suffrage movement and wanted to change the world. Then in their 21st year, Victoria's life was about to become a public scandal. Charles Dawson, hand-picked by the twins' father to save Victoria's reputation, tried to make an unwanted marriage work. Then in an act of deception, the twins took an irrevocable step, sending one of them to the battlefields of France and the other into a marriage she longed for but could not have. From Manhattan society to war ravaged France, Mirror Image moves through a rich troubled era. This is an excellent book to read I couldn't put it down. It shows the unique bonds between twins that are mirror images of themselves, yet are total opposites.

Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul
By: Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and Kimberly Kirberger.
This is an excellent book. It tells other teenager's stories on relationships, friendship, family, love and kindness, learning, the tough things and more. It gives advise and shows you that you are not the only one who's going through bad and good times. I recommend this book to all tennagers who have ever wondered if the little things they do to make someone else feel good make a difference. Or if you want to know how other teens handled a certain problem.

The Mistress of Falcon Hill
By: Dorothy Daniels.
If you like mystery books then you will love any of Dorothy Daniels books. This book is my favorite book. It takes place right after the American Civil War, between the North and the South. This interests me even though I'm Canadian. I'm also crazy about big, old houses with attics. All of these things are in this book.
When young, pretty Amy Dalton's father died she was left very wealthy. Amy and her father left Amy's mother and older sister down in South Carolina before the civil war. Now Amy wants to reunite with her family. The last thing she heard was that her sister, Belle, had married a man named Joel, and that their mother went along with them to Falcon Hill. But when Amy arrived at Falcon Hill she had no idea what deep dark secret she was getting herself into. Joel is lying to her and the maid, Drucie, tried to kill Amy. This book will leave in suspense till the very end.
