DAISY

Scene from Daisy 1999

experimental drama 35mm black & white 13:00 mins

SYNOPSIS

DAISY is a film that plays with time and memory filled with an emotion that begins with a kiss.

This film was shot on 16mm black and white stock with the intention to blow up to 35mm film. The intent of this process was to not only have a 35mm finished film, but to make use of the resulting grain. There is for me a sense of sadness and emotion that comes with grain. This beautiful texture can elicit a sense of nostalgia, a feel that well matches the story of DAISY.
