History of the Industrial Arts Co-op
Description of I.A.C.

The Industrial Arts Co-op is a collective of eight artists that share studio work space, collaborate to create large-scale public sculptures, and participate in group and solo exhibitions. The group currently manages a facility at The Brew House on the South Side of Pittsburgh, equipped for a variety of artistic processes including metal, woodworking and ceramics.

The Industrial Arts Co-op intends to continue its commitment to the community and to the Pittsburgh area by providing industrial-scale work within the public view, contributing to the local arts community through participation in exhibitions, and encouraging the growth of emerging artists.
