Show me your world. Take me away from this sublunary existence. Show me the mountains, so far away from the entrapment of man’s narrow philosophy. And save me from living a life, fighting for money and needless pelf. Bring me to the glistening streams, where water, flowing gently, is the only sound one can hear. Remove me from the life of greed, gluttony, and hate that so many unfortunate souls are destined to lead. Allow me to look through your eyes when you see the sun set in the distance, placing a warm blanket of night over everyone with the heart to notice it. And give me the freedom to choose my fate. My desire to be one with you and all your life’s majesty burns deeply within the crevices of my rocky existence. My hope is that you will free me from this wretched man-made "life," that I dread with my entire being. My prayers are that you will see ill fate and take me away with you. For I am a free spirit and cannot conform to the mechanical regiment that one follows, each day, without halting. |
