REFLECTIONS

The water ripples with delight
A pool of tranquility.
As I gaze deep in thought
Reflections of you I see.

I think about the day we met,
The time we've spent together.
Holding hands, a warm embrace
A love that will last forever.

This is a day that we're apart
And I feel so alone.
Reflections of you, in my heart
Are what keep me going strong.

What magic does this liquid hold,
To reveal the things I see?
The past, the present, the future untold
Reflections of you and me.
