The word artist is defined as "someone who views their work as dealing with the arts." Being a writer myself, I feel that writing is an artform. When a painter paints, he puts his heart and soul into that one piece.

That's the way it is with writing. Writers use all of their engery when creating and know that if they didn't give their everything, then it won't be perfection. Writers are perfectionists when it comes to their work.
