Welcome to my SKYDIVING page! I've been a skydiver for about five years. I did my first jump on the 18th of June 1994. (To read the account of my first jump that I wrote for my employer's employee newspaper, click here.) Since then I've been jumping as much as possible. I try to get out to the drop zone at least every other weekend during the summer. Both of my brothers are skydivers also and we try to get together at least once a year to jump. My wife also jumps. She has made 4 tandom skydives. And my 8 1/2 year old daughter says that when she's old enough (18) she's going to skydive. Our motto is, "the family the dives together, flys together!" |

Here's me under canopy. This is one of the few pictures that I have of myself actually in the air. |

My brothers and me... summer 1998 (Gregg in the center and Jeff on the right). We're sitting in the DZ's newest jump plane, a Cessna 411. The 411 is great... it'll take 12 skydivers to 14,000 feet in about 15 minutes and it's cool, comfortable, and quiet! By the way, my teeshirt asks, "Why would I jump out of a perfectly good airplane?" on the front... on the back it answers, "Because the door is open!" |
