Four different techinques. Lion was done with a black Crayola marker and a wet brush. Rhino was done using a sponge brush over a (regular) brush drawing. It was fun to do but I don't use a sponge much because Xerox machines have a hard time with all the grey values.
One of the few times I messed with color is this understuffed rabbit that my sister had. The first thing people do is turn it upside down and read the writing on the canoe.
One of the concepts that I've reworked time and again is that of a calico tiger..

The ladies are a Ballgirl, based on a Joplin Globe photograph. Khrystyne Haje (from HEAD OF THE CLASS), and Sonja another redhead.

So that you know what I look like, there's also a self portait.

A pair of outdoor scenes. The origional drawing of some trees is very small, about 5x6, but the larger it's been reproduced the better it looks. I've thought about reworking the center image into a heart or diamond shape but haven't found a good enough reason.
There is no true origional for the picture of the flowers. It was basically drawn in stages, with new stuff added to xeroxes of the previous work.

Player is a razor-tip pen drawing of Moe Williams of the Minnesota Vikings. The card layout is based on an old TOPPS card. I like the style of illustraters like Charles Dana Gibson and Thomas Nast and tried to do similar line-work.
The picture of the football player was done very differently. To add character I used a sponge brush (really an old piece of headphone foam) The picture of the Rhino was done with the same techinque.

First is Captain Nemo's famous Nautilus submarine. The picture takes awhile to load up, but it's worth it. Like the ballcard above I was thinking of the nineteen century newspaper illustrators when working on it. The origional is in a frame not far from my workspace.
The incredible hulk is copyrighted by Marvel Comics. You have to say that or they get mad.

Both of these sketches were done on small 4x6 pad tucked away for when I get stuck in the truck waiting for people. Not bad work for using a ballpoint pen.
