In God’s Hands

I can’t seem to figure out
what I’m to do with myself
I thought it would be easier
I thought I wouldn’t need help
But I know I’m glad it’s come to this
it’s time to hang my hat
And put my trust in God above
that He’ll show me where I’m at
It’s very hard to look ahead
and wonder what’s to come
So all I’ll see is when one day
I’ll be with God’s own Son
And in the meantime I have no doubt
He’ll give me so much more
I just have to learn to wait
for Him to open the door
So I guess I’m saying that I’m glad
that I had to look for help
I would suggest that everyone do so
and quit relying on yourself
It gives you so much peace inside
and helps you clearly see
I know my life is in God’s hands
no matter what it is I’ll be
