My Home Town

I'm feeling like I never did
So I'm coming back to my home town
I hope that all is still the same
And everything is safe and sound
I heard your voice calling me
Telling me where I need to be
And so I'm back with you again
And this is where I'll always be
I feel a newfound liberty
So I'm coming back to my home town
I hope everyone remembers me
And that they can see the way I've found
It's good to be back where I know
And to feel the things that I am used to
It's great to know this all again
It's so awesome to feel like I used to
It's a whole new light to be alive
As I'm coming back to my home town
I can't imagine another way
Than to be right here safe and sound
I strayed away for much too long
I strayed but now I'm back
I was lost but now am found again
What a beautiful concept to not look back
