I know my God, I've seen your love, and I've felt your healing hands
But still sometimes the road gets tough and it's hard to understand
Through everything that's good and pure there still exists that ounce
Of everything that's dark and heavy and hard to figure out

But through your mercy and undying grace you'll get me through it all
With love you'll pick me up again every time that I fall
I freeze in the moments of pain and grief distorting my vision of the end
Only to realize your love which renews my strength once again
