Amery is the name of a winery in South Australia where a
friend of mine used to live. One December evening, she held a
barbeque there, and I took this photo and some others, of the sunset
and my friends.
Equipment : It was taken on a Zenit-E Global, an old and simple
Russian camera. How simple ? 1/30 - 1/500 and B shutter speeds,
pre-set lenses, and the meter is not through-the-lens, its "sensor"
sits just above the lens. It was, though, the camera I first took
pictures with, when I was about 14. I put it aside for a number of
years, though, until I became interested in photography again. One
thing led to another, and I now have a K-1000 and MZ-5, with various
lenses and accessories (which is why this photo appears in the Pentax
Users Gallery :). I still have the Zenit, though, and use it from
time to time - although these days when I'm looking for "back to
basics" photography I tend to use my Mamiya C220, but that's another
story).
