Shot this picture in December '96. It is our cat Karim, a cream British shorthair. He was probably three months then. His weight was about 1 kilo then. I'ts 6,5 now! The picture was taken when he was lying on our waterbed. Cats just love them! Taken with MZ-5 in manual mode with spot meter. Metered on one of the eyes and corrected about one and a half stop down. Focussed on that eye too. The lens was the SMC-A 135mm f2,8, fully opened. Used no flash. There was no room for a tripod so I used a monopod. Exposure must have been around 1/30th second. Film used was Ilford HP-5 pushed to 800 ASA, using Amaloco chemicals and Ilford Multigrade paper.
