On that note, for the last 10 years it has been both a great privilege and a challenge to work in the service of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the San Diego Rescue Mission. Facilities Manager
Another area of interest is Fractal Imaging and the mathematics from which it stems. The formulas seem to describe the math behind Gods Creation. Bold Statement? Check out 2 books, the first is The Fractal Geometry of Nature by Benoit B. Mandelbrot (W.H. Freeman and Company). The second is Fractals Everywhere by Michael Barnsley. (Ap Professional) Highly interesting read, and a picture is worth 1,000 words. Oh, if by chance you are not
familiar with, or can't relate to just what a fractal is, a snowflake is an excellent example of fractal geometry. Check out my links page...
Being a machinist/tool & die maker (of 20 years) by trade, gave me an acquaintance with CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing). I guess that is where my interest in 3-D modeling comes from; it is something that I truly enjoy. I aspire to someday own a copy of LightWave 3-D running on an Alpha; ( I can dream, can't I?) however at that point I think I would have a hard time
justifying my "HOBBY". Maybe; the Lord has something for me there.
