Amaury D Rolin gets excited: | Neat trick for all of you with POV-Ray!
Render a scene... Move the camera over 1.5 inches (what ever the scale makes that out to be in your scene)... Render the scene... Display the two scenes side by side... Cross your eyes to overlap the images... ****3D******the image actually pops out!!!!!! |
|
Martin Roth expands on this:
|
Instead of crossing your eyes you might want to try to render
one scene in red and the other one in blue tones only. Merge them with
some postprocessor and view them with red/blue 3D-glasses.
For making 3D-movies: render a bunch of pictures with the 1st camera
setting and another one with the second setting. Use Dave's Targa Animator
(dta) to make a red/blue 3D-movie (older versions of dta even had a -3d
switch, it's slightly different in the latest version).
