The
Uwedat User Manual is a XML-document. XML is the abbreviation of Extensible Markup Language, a new approach to make the authoring and distribution of electronic documents more comfortable. XML is a recommendation of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). To give an impression of the benefits of XML you should know, that all conceptual parts of this document were originally intented for authoring a judicial manual. Both the Document Type Definition (DTD) and the XSL-Stylesheet have been applied without changes for authoring this technical manual.
The electronic version of this manual contains dynamically generated paragraphs, that means that some parts of this manual are only visible with mouseclick. The advantage of this special feature, you don't have to scroll through large documents, you always have the information-context in view. The disadvantage is that you cannot make a printout of this manual. If you need a hardcopy, please use the
html-version of this manual, it includes all paragraphs in expanded format.
