LIFE'S OLD SHOE

Withered and worn just like an old shoe
aged by the years with many a tear.
Love, Laughter and Hate have been mine
over many a year.

L - Love of a lifetime has been mine to hold.
O - Over the years as I have grown old.
V - Value of family was mine to have.
E - Evolving though the years with laughter and tears.

L - Life of a baby to hold for awhile.
A - Anticipating it's future with a quite smile.
U - Uneasy about the world of the child.
G - Gift from the heavens, but where will it go?
H - Happiness will abound for awhile.
T - Thoughts keep swirling around in my head.
E - Echoing all the the good and the bad.
R - Reasoning what in life could be had.

H - Harken and hear the sound of fear.
A - Accompaning one, you have loved through the years.
T - Take me, instead you cry through the tears.
E - Evoking whatever spirits will hear.
