Hello, and welcome to this crappy homepage. My real name is David Gordon, but you may know me as “Dav485q” (which is the license plate of Alex’s car in the movie A Clockwork Orange). My height is about 5'11" and my weight is about 135 lbs. My birthday is December 30, 1979 and I was born, raised, and still live in (for now) Plattsburgh, NY – about 50 miles due south of Montreal, Quebec. It’s a small college/hick town that offers little, if any, entertainment aside from the mall, the occasional concert that might wander it’s way up here every so often and, of course, whatever things we can find to do in our spare time (though certainly not as thrilling *l*). I have a small group of close friends who share, for the most part, my same views on life, music, etc. I do not consider myself a typical anything. I pride myself in being as much myself as possible and I like my friends for those same reasons (besides, being trendy is expensive, and it would mean I’d have to drastically lower my expectations of what good music should be *g*). I can’t stand people who try to be something they’re not. I’m very open minded, particularly when it comes to music (or at least I try to be as much as possible). I try to give everything out there a fair chance and I have an expansive collection of CDs. I also dislike people who are very shallow, belligerent and/or simple-minded. Don’t get me wrong though – my most common side is humorous (although usually sardonic). Although it should be noted I get particularly depressed during the winter season… I believe I may have a seasonal depression disorder. Then again, who doesn’t get a little down (except for skiers/snowboarders) whenever it snows here. (which is all the time, except for a few months in the summer and early fall)
