Great Expectations Mixed Media. Lisbeth 1999 I've based this image on a detail of a group photo taken sometime during the 1920s. I'm intrigued by the look on the faces of these young men. The Great War is over and life is about to begin. Whatever became of them? I only know about one gentleman. He is in his nineties but still going strong.
