HOMEMADE ACIDOPHILUS

From: Lori Reid
"I have no idea if this really works, but sounds plausible."

You take 1/8th tsp. of garlic powder(organic), 3 cups of chopped cabbage, 1&3/4 cups of filtered water, mix in a blender. You let it sit for three days at room temp. Strain while saving the pulp. The liquid is fresh living Dopholisus. Save a 1/4 cup of the liquid and mix it back into the saved pulp. You then mix it in a fresh batch of 3 cups cabbage 1&1/2 cups water 1/8 tsp garlic powder. This time after mixing it in the blender you only need let it sit over night before using. You repeat this process daily and you will continue to have a continuos fresh daily supply of no doubt about it living culture of acidopholus's. No need to wonder if the stuff at the heathfood stores is alive or dead. Plus it'll save you alot of ca$h. Really, you think its kept cold but who's to say the guys at the airport shipping docks are really concerned about our well being. I would start the process with a fresh supply mid week just to be certain you can overlap previous weeks supply with a clean jar. Who knows, could get a little funky. Should taste like lemon/lime club soda and smell like saurkraut?.
